Resources This is a time of exponential growth in the study and practice of the science of compassion within contextual science and cognitive and behavioral therapies. There are many channels that you can begin to explore to further your knowl- edge beyond what you have learned from this book. In order to present a focused and manageable path through the ever-expanding world of compassion psychol- ogy, we have included a brief list of Internet links below. Most of the links will bring you to websites that can serve as portals to further information and train- ing about how to use compassion in an ACT or psychotherapy practice. Video recordings of lectures, documents of relevant readings, and guided audio record- ings of compassionate imagery exercises are all available at these sites. Importantly, several of the websites also have training and events calendars that outline opportunities for further training in ACT, CFT, FAP, and the inte- gration of a compassionate focus into a range of psychological applications. Many opportunities for workshops, individual supervision, online consultation groups, and blended learning are emerging as mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion evolve in our Western psychological tradition. We hope that each link below serves as an inroad to other resources, and that you avail yourself of these in your own way and in your own time, crafting your own path for yourself as you continue your compassionate journey.
